Pancentric Becomes Business Partners with Reforestation Non-Profit, One Tree Planted

Pancentric is committed to climate action and creating more sustainable, carbon-neutral workplaces for businesses. With our new partnership with reforestation charity One Tree Planted, we are aiming to make our planet a little greener by donating funds to plant trees that will help tackle the deforestation crisis and combat the wildfires that threatening our little Blue Marble called home.

The Intranet That's Making a Difference

Pancentric's intranet solution - HUB - has already made an impact with One Tree Planted.  As a leading intranet provider, HUB already partners with One Tree Planted via a working relationship with peer-review tech site G2.  For every customer review HUB receives, a donation is made to plant 10 trees. So far, HUB has already planted over 417 new trees, but our team here at Pancentric wanted to plant more, so we have become an official One Tree Planted Business Partner.

Why Trees?

Planting trees is consistently identified as one of the best ways to combat the damaging effects of climate change. Trees help to clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat for over 80 percent of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity. Trees also provide lasting social impact by providing jobs to over 1.6 billion people, empowering women in underdeveloped nations, and supporting communities that are devastated by environmental damage.

The partnership is designed to be a simple way for our customers to know they are working with and sourcing technology solutions from a climate-conscious organisation, and helping to support global reforestation.

At Pancentric, we aim to do more and plant more, which is why we're pledging to plant 50 trees for every new client we onboard, plus we will make donations for survey responses and other customer engagements. Our aim is to become a carbon-neutral business, and have the HUB become the first intranet provider in the UK to be fully sustainable and carbon-neutral.

The trees are planted by local partner organizations and community volunteers in areas where deforestation has occurred.

One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees.
