Terms & Conditions
- An application to be considered to take part in the Ready Steady Go-Insur ‘Digital PoC’ is open to any insurance business operating in the UK or globally.
- The Digital PoC is defined as follows i) free Go-Insur 'Pro' package configuration (normally charged at £15,000 excl. VAT) which allows up to 10 risk rated questions ii) free running costs for the first 6 months in the form of a Go-Insur platform licence (normally charged at £15,000 excl. VAT for Pro packages and above) or until the participating company records £500,000 of GWP via the platform, whichever happens first. iii) On completion of 6 months, or at £500,000 GWP, the participating company will switch to 50% reduced running costs (a discount of £7,500 on the normal £15,000 excl. VAT licence charge) until the end of the 12-month Digital PoC. The total market value of the Digital PoC is £37,500 excl. VAT. - Applications for the Digital PoC are to be made online via the official webpage.
- In order to be considered for the Digital PoC, applicants must have capacity secured for their proposed product for 12 months, their business must have been trading for 12 months and they must be a new client to Go-Insur.
- Go-Insur will review applications and meet with shortlisted applicants to review their readiness for the Digital PoC. The Go-Insur and Insurance Times decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The Digital PoC must commence before 03 December 2024.
- The Go-Insur team reserves the right to extend the deadline of this PoC offer and related timings in order to find a credible and suitable participant.
- The Digital PoC has a duration of 12 months from completion of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- As part of the Digital PoC, the successful applicant must enter into a 12-month Go-Insur licence agreement.
- The product set-up details of the Digital PoC will be summarised and agreed in a Statement of Work signed by both parties.
- The Digital PoC is limited to English language only.
- At the end of 12 months, the successful applicant may either terminate the DigitalPoC, providing 1 month’s notice in writing, or continue the service and be subject to standard ongoing Go-Insur licence fees summarised here.
- The successful applicant must complete the 12-month Digital PoC and is required to pay the reduced running cost fee for months 7 to 12 inclusive (a total of £7,500 excl. VAT) and for any additional months at £2,500 per month excl. VAT if it records £500,000 of GWP before month 7. The successful applicant will be invoiced quarterly in advance for the reduced running cost fees. Payment terms are 30 days.
- The successful applicant has the option and flexibility to upgrade from the Go-Insur 'Pro' package but will be required to pay the additional fees. Guidance on set-up fees for upgrade packages can be found on the Go-Insur pricing page. The details of the additional set-up activity will be detailed in the Statement of Work and signed by both parties. Exceptional change requests after UAT may be subject to a separate quotation of fees. The successful applicant will be invoiced on commission of any additional works. Payment terms are 30 days.
- Go-Insur has no responsibility for the commercial performance of the Digital PoC. Commercial performance is linked to factors outside Go-Insur’s control e.g. underwriting rules. Go-Insur is solely responsible for the good technical functions and availability of the platform throughout the Digital PoC.
- The Digital PoC offer is as stated and there are no alternative cash substitutes.
- The successful applicant agrees to participate in publicity accompanying or resulting from the Digital PoC. This will entail editorial by Insurance Times and publicity by Go-Insur. No compensation is provided for this participation..
- The Promoter reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or cancel the Digital PoC at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control.
- English law applies and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any proceedings in connection with this promotion.
